Lincolnshire Folk Tales was published by the History Press in October 2013 - ISBN: 9780752466408 . Cambridgeshire Folk Tales came out in October 2014 from the same publisher.
Whilst the Cambridgeshire book includes a comprehensive contents list at the front of the book, the Lincolnshire volume just includes the chapter headings. If you want a full contents list, please scroll down to the bottom of this page.
I am available to give talks on the content and research connected to the book or for Lincolnshire Folk Tales storytelling sessions. Please contact me via the contact tab at the top of this page.
A session at Lincoln Central Library received the following feedback:
"We have had some very complimentary comments from people who came, and the staff who were listening said they really enjoyed the stories. I thoroughly enjoyed it myself - it is a long time since I have just sat and listened to someone telling stories...

In this section of the website can be found a sample story from the book and an audio recording of one of the tales.
Additional information on the stories, particularly background material can also be accessed via the links on the right as can a selection of songs connected to Lincolnshire Folk Tales
As part of my research I have also investigated the lives of the folklorists, story collectors and storytellers of the two counties. A page containing this information can also be found via the link on the right of this page.
I am hoping that the Lincolnshire WEA will soon be taking me up on my offer to run day schools on this subject.
