Historical Storytelling for family audiences at museum and heritage sites

Maureen James has put together a number of sets of engaging, informative and entertaining historical stories for heritage sites and family audiences.
She wears period costume and can perform in an authentic tent equipped to 'living history' standard.
Her current repertoire is suitable for all ages and covers a number of historical periods including-

  • Medieval stories at Carrickfergus Castle, Belfast, Rockingham Castle & Wisbech Castle.
  • Tudor stories at Redbridge Museum, Harlow Museum, Essex
  • 17th Century stories at St Albans Abbey, Gloucester through the ages and the Cromwell Museum, Huntingdon
  • Victorian Stories at Salisbury Museum & Tullie House Museum, Carlisle
